Summary of Building Experience:

The Sater family has eight children who were all under the age of 16 while they built their home. For most families it would be impossible to maintain family relations while building a home. However, the Sater’s used this challenging experience to help them grow closer.

Throughout the building process the whole Sater family could be found working together at the building site, every Friday and Saturday. From oldest to youngest they all did their part. Diane said, “It’s been incredible to watch the kids rise to the occasion and help around here. They never whine or complain about helping out. We couldn’t have done it without the kids.” As a result of all their hard work, each of the Sater kids will have a strong since of pride in this home for the rest of their lives. The Sater’s didn’t just build a home, they build some wonderful memories.
